I have been presented with an opportunity full time mon-friday ENT NP job for 85,000 with call? I live in maryland..does this seem like tooo little for a speciality?

Hmmm - I live in central IL and started in the mid-70"s three years ago in nephrology. I would think you need to decide what tangible benefits you are getting in addition to salary. I would think your cost of living is much higher than mine.

I don't know much about Maryland or ENT, but as a new grad I was offered a f/t position in OB/GYN that also required call (phone only) and payed $62k although I would have been doing procedures that make big money for the practice. They said my salary would be in the low $70s within a couple years, but even that is a far cry from $85k.
I would think it depends on the going rate for your area and how much experience you have.
