Unfortunately I already submitted my application. I don't even know if I qualify for expungement because It's only been a year and a half since my DUI. Plus, it would take 120 days for it to process. So even if I did it now, and got denied the endorsement, I wouldn't have the expungement processed in time for my appeal. I called the BON the other day and said they would review my application soon. So i'll keep you guys updated -__-
Since no one was able to help me out, I just got my License in the Mail from California. I'm officially a registered Nurse in California, despite having a DUI. I just turned in what I had to turn it. Didn't have to appeal. Took 5 months for them to process though. Found a job in California so I'll be moving next month.

I currently have my RN license in the state of Hawaii. I got my DUI in aug 2013 (so about 1.5 years ago). I am currently trying to endorse my license to california, sent my application, references, court and police documents, proof of rehab. It's been a month since i turned everything in, I've called many times, but I still haven't got a response. My question is, is there a possibility that they will deny my license? I've read many success threads about people trying to take their nclex in california with a DUI, So I was just wondering if I'd have a better edge because I already have my RN license. Thanks
