Holy Moly..
I cant believe that im finishing my first semster. I am also proud to say I only cried two times haha.
Starting tomorrow I have my first Kaplan proctored exam (kind of like ATI). Then on friday I start at 8am with my pharmacology simulation, where I will administer oral medications, heparin, lovenox, mix and give insulin, digoxin, and the flu shot to two different patients which are the sims. After my simulation I get to take a 50 question dosage calculation test, then my last pharmacology test on heart drugs. Its going to be a long morning but after I finish up I am heading down to Charlotte North Carolina for the Carolina Rebllion!!! I'm so ready for the weekend..
Then next week I have my Fundamentals final wednesday, and my Pharmacology final then my pharmacology Kaplan exam on friday.
Nursing school is tough. But my gosh do I love it! I love getting the tests and using my process of elimination and my newly aquired skill of critical thinking. Its amazing how much you learn and you dont realize it!!
Graduation is getting closer and closer. December 18th 2015!!!
I have an 88 in both classes right now, so not matter what happenes with my finals I will still pass my classes. So im not worried about it. BUT of course im still stressed and want to do my best because my GPA is still in the picture. I want to do my best, not pass with the bare minimum.
Next Semester starts May 18th and is 5 weeks long for my MED-SURG ll class... then the 5 weeks after that is mother baby. once those 10 weeks are over, I will finally get a break for a month. Then its the home stretch. I cant wait!
Until next time everyone :)
