End-of-year gifts for teachers?

Published

I am a student, and our ADN class will graduate in a few months - we would like to give our teachers a gift at the end of the year to express our appreciation. What do nursing instructors like? We don't want to give them some tacky trinket that will sit and collect dust. Any good ideas out there?

What about gifts for the school from our graduating class? I'm sure it is all about the budget, and for a class gift I think we could afford something up to $300. Individual gifts for teachers, maybe $50.

Any ideas are appreciated! thanks :p

I gave movie passes to four elementary teachers for Christmas. They loved it and it didn't break the bank. Good for non-clutter.

I had one instructor who went above and beyond in helping me at the school. I got her one of those special nurse teacher typed framed things. Was very nice. She loved it and said I was the only person who ever did something like that. Our class started out with 500 and 250 graduated. You could not get an ounce of attention if your life depended on it. Were not allowed for most classes nursing related to even ask questions due to the class sizes. Many classes were in auditoriums due to size. She helped me when no one else would even bother.
