EMT Training ?

Has anyone done or considered EMT training in conjunction with Nursing when first starting out ?

This should also be a good resume builder in addition to gaining experience in dealing with emergency situations. would think this would be helpful in the long run.

Please correct me if I am wrong and share any comments or suggestions.

My school tested us for the skills portion. Special skills testers were brought in; my instructor could not test us. Of course we had to pass a big final for the class too to be able to go on to test in skills. And we had to bring a volunteer to run thru all the scenarios.

The NREMT exam is NCEX style. I tested on a computer and did about 70 questions. :)
