Hi, 

I've had really bad imposter syndrome when it comes to applying to the program. I've finally gained to courage and let me tell you this has been the most nerve wrecking 3/4 month of waiting. But in 3 days decisions are sent out. 
 

I guess I'm here for words of encouragement. I'm really worried I may not be competitive enough. My undergrad GPA is a 2.8. I fell sick from endometriosis and financially hardship and it took a toll on my academics. I went on to get my masters from university of Maryland school of pharmacy and ended with a 3.5 GPA. I did pediatric diabetes research for a short period of time til the study ended. I mentioned all of this in my personal statement. Anyone been in my shoes or no someone who was in my shoes and was accepted?

I also applied for Summer 2026 & and very anxiously waiting for Wednesday... my undergrad GPA was similar (2.8), but I did a DIY post-bacc instead of a masters to bring it up above 3.0... I really tried to put everything possible into my personal statement and I'm hoping that works in my favor. Good luck and hopefully we're able to come back here on Wednesday to share good news 🤞🏼🍀

 So much luck to you as well. I contacted Emory today with questions inregard to something else and they let me know that they were missing my transcript from a previous college I went to so my application was incomplete. I've gotten the issue resolved and hope I can still get a decision still by tomorrow. Please share your good news tomorrow and hopefully we can meet in May at orientation!

I haven't gotten a decision yet (they said to expect to hear after 5pm tho), but my OPUS page is now showing a "pay admissions deposit" button under where it says my application was received... on other threads they say that this is a good sign, but I'm not gonna get my hopes up until I know for sure LOL

I am absolutely shocked that I got in because my stats are definitely below average but I'm so excited to start 🥳

I just heard back from the second round of admissions and got in for Adult-Gerontology Primary Care!

I never got an email. I saw on OPUS this morning (around 10am) that there was a section for me to submit my acceptance deposit, and then a few hours later, the official acceptance letter was on my admissions portal. It seems like, from previous comments and threads, that you should be able to check via OPUS.

Just checked my portal again and it's still saying that my application status is submitted.  No email, nothing on OPUS either that says rejection, waitlisted, or offered admission for Round 2 results.  Starting to wonder what the situation is on my end.
