Emory RN Residency Summer/Fall 2016

I graduate May 2016 and was wondering if anyone happen to know when Emory healthcare was opening their RN residency application for summer or fall of 2016?

I just get an email saying my resume has been successfully reviewed by our Talent Acquisition team and has been forwarded to the hiring department for further review. Interviews should be starting within the next couple weeks. I'm not ready!

ER at Midtown or Neuro ICU at Midtown or EUH. You?

I'm hoping for CVICU at St Joes or MICU at Emory University or Midtown.

If Neuro isn't available I would love CVICU. Are you doing your capstone/practicum in the ICU? Mine is in the SICU but I read somewhere that they won't consider you for the ICU unless you do your senior practicum in the ICU.

I have another interview for an ICU position here in the city I currently live (Dallas) on Thursday of next week. I'm just nervous that Emory moves so slow that I will possibly get a job offer somewhere else before I can even interview with Emory. I don't think I could afford turning down a job offer if I get one beforehand.

I know I feel the same way but am willing to hold out for Emory or Piedmont. I am doing my practicum in the MICU but work in a CVICU

Great! That should give you a leg up. Did you receive a call from Piedmont? I applied to the Henry, Atlanta and Fayette locations. I got a call on Friday from the Henry location and she asked me a couple questions and said they would be calling people back in the next week or two to set up interviews.

I only applied to the Atlanta location and have not received a call yet. Hopefully soon! Piedmont is my #1!

Just got another email from Emory for the questionnaire. Due on the 9th and interviews will be on the 23rd of this month if selected.
