Emory Nurse Residency 2015

Anyone apply to the emory nurse residency program for Feb 2015? Just curious so I could feel a timeline out for applications and interviews and such. I don't know what the normal timeline is but figured someone may have heard.

At Emory midtown, it wasn't a panel interview. I am not sure if it was the same for everyone but I was interviewed only for my first choice, ICU. There were many directors from different units sitting at different tables and interviewing one applicant at a time. I was asked to choose my preferred ICU and when I told the lady, she continued with the interview and then introduced me to the director of the particular unit I am interested in.

I know some people who interviewed for Med-surg were asked to wait after their interviews. I am not sure what they waiting for. All I was told by the coordinators/HR reps was that they will all be at Emory University Hospital on Monday and will start giving offers on Tuesday.

Which ICU UD did you talk to?

They will start notifying people starting today through Thursday! There are between 80-100 new grads being hired between Emory and Midtown. Good luck to everyone!

The email also states "If you have not already interviewed, we look forward to meeting with you."

I guess they sent it to everyone who applied.
