Hey y'all - I wanted to start this thread since the super-early application deadline has passed and decisions should (theoretically) come out this week
Hi everyone! I also submitted by app on Oct 15 and I am super excited/nervous to hear back next month. I am a little shocked that Emory determines acceptance decisions based on so little information (no letters of recommendation, optional personal statement, or interviews). Anyway, good luck everyone!

Hi pam3, I don't know the exact number they accept, but I know you have a better chance of being accepted if you apply on the earlier deadlines like October versus the later ones cause they base the later deadlines on how many people have accepted. There's 111 in my cohort and that's about the typical size. The deposit was $300. To be honest about tuition, not very many people got scholarships and at least for my cohort, they didn't give us much for financial aid. Pretty much everyone I know had to take out private loans. For us, because we're more a part of the graduate schools, we don't live on campus. A lot of people live at campus crossings or Emory point apartments. Campus crossings actually does roommate matching. There's also an Emory roommates Facebook page that people use which is how I found my roommates. Let me know if you have any other questions.
