Hi I applied for the summer 2019 program and all my paperwork was received September 10. I am still waiting to hear back about their decision. My overall gpa is a 3.6, my prereq gpa is a 3.9, and I submitted my gre (156Q, 162V, 4.5W).

Has anyone heard back yet?

Also, do most graduates of this program begin working as a nurse practitioner (ARNP) or as an RN?

Hi! So glad someone finally posted on this thread!!

You complete the first 15 months and you get your BSN and you have to get your RN before you can start the masters program. Then the second part of the program you receive your MSN and can sit for your boards to get your credentials as Advanced Practice Registered Nursing (APRN).

Wow I'm surprised no one has posted anything yet. I'm still waiting until Nov 15 which is the official decision date. I was wondering if anyone heard back sooner because I read on other threads that students were accepted before the decision date on previous years.

Hello! I'm going to applying for the Decmber 1st deadline and was wondering if there is anyone who has been accepted that wouldn't mind sharing their stats?? I'm nervous about the competitiveness of the program. I have a 3.49 cGPA but have a 297 on the GRE (which hopefully doesnt kill me as an applicant). However, I have over 2,000 hours of working as a nurse techincian and 1,000 volunteer hours in various places (food bank, free clinic, summer teaching program with kids) and hoping that will make me stand out.

There is another Emory thread going and I think only a few people have heard back so far. I have heard nothing yet but I think they are slowly sending out decisions. I am super nervous! Good luck everyone!

According to Emory FAQs and application portal, acceptance notices for the ABSN-MSN program are supposed to be announced today. Best of luck, everyone!!

I have a US News subscription if you want the GPA and GRE score aggregates for the MSN program. Caveat is there are no stats specifically for the ABSN-MSN program :(

Once the first wave of acceptances is announced, hopefully people will start sharing their stats.

Does anyone know how/ when they are sending out decisions today?

I haven't heard any specifics. According to a thread from two years ago, they announced 5PM Eastern Time.

Anyone have better insight?
