Ellis Hospital School of Nursing?

Bump...No one attended Ellis Hospital SON???

I worked at Ellis, and applied to their SON, but they have quite a waiting list (1-2 years). I ended up getting accepted right away into a pricier school that's a little more of a drive for me, so I go there, but I know many nurses who went to Ellis and have nothing but good things to say about it. From what I've heard, you get a very good mix of patient populations in your clinicals, which are 2 days a week. Of course, I'm just comparing to my school, where we go to one unit, say oncology, or cardiovascular, and stay there all semester, they move around a lot more. Let me know if there's anything else you want to know, I'll ask around and find out if I don't have an answer for you.

I am also looking into Ellis Hospital School of Nursing and I was wondering if anyone knew anything about the advanced placement for LPNs? What does it exempt LPNs from and how much faster does it make the program?

hi my name is Joanna, since i see you went to kings borough

and i want to go to kings borough community college and im wondering what is the gpa that actually gets someone into the program. the minimum is 2.5 to get in but im sure they expect a higher gpa

my only question is what is the actual gpa for the people that got in to the program.

if you are one of the students that got into the program pleas tell me what was your gpa.

Which school did you go to? Just wondering... I have been accepted to a school here in New Jersey for Fall 2010 but would like to move up to the Albany area this summer. I feel lost since I don't know much about the schools up that way.

To 86toronado, I know this message was posted over a year ago and I hope you get this, I am currently looking for information about Ellis hospital school of Nursing. I just got accepted there for Fall 2010 and I feel so hopeless and thinking about not going even though I paid the deposit fee to hold my seat.
