hi so i kind of look at dyc for nursing only becouse my gpa is 3.08 and it is certainly not competitive. i was told i should get in with no problem by the nursing department i just wonder how much i will have to spent for the school!??? that is my only concern, tuition is definitelly duable, but the cheapest dorm with the full meal plan how is that ??? please respond to me ... is it a good choice is there any other schools that cost less and are equally easy to get in to

go to army they will pay for your loans up to 60 K ...but it is risky of course, nothing free !

hi can you tell me what was your gpa becouse i want to go to NYU accelerated and i don't think i have what it takes do they look at the sciences ??? or overall gpa ???

thank you so much ! one more question do they look at the nln and gpa equally ? does high score in one help the lower score of the other idk?? plus i have 2 C's in both a&p I and II but all together my grades are better, do the C's in major classes are an automatic rejection ? or do they look strictly on the gpa # only??? plus who is the best scie 215 teacher by the best i mean the easiest to get an A in !!! and one last question when they over calculate your gpa do they take off all the pluses and minuses, like they did in hunter a B+ would count only as a B and a B- would count as a B ! i hope they don't do that becouse it is simply unfair !!! thanx a lot and good luck to you i just wish i got in !!! i have been trough hell this summer and past year i really wish i didn't go to hunter that college is super commpetitivie the lowest gpa to get in is #.5 and 135 on the nln my friend with those scores got waiting listed !!!

thank you so much you seem to know a lot about that i definitely consider private schools i m just cirious about the syudent loans, some schools with tuition and room and board cost up to 80 k that is a lot do u know people who spent that money for nursing school ??? if yes do you think it is really hard to repay this kind of student loan, or is it duable and noral ?? what are your other sugestions about suny schools i have a C in science class my gpa is little above 3.2 and i honestly don't think i could even look into sunys with those scores !!! what are your preffrences ? advice

thanx that kind of sort of helps im a transfer and my over all gpa will be a 3.15 it really seems not enough ...so i just want to honestly know if this is a getting into the nursing program GPA my be you know anyone who actually got in with a 3.15 and descent nln like 130 i really need to get an honest answer for it, since i took my classes in hunter college and clearly that school is really hard so thats why my gpa ins't so competitive if i went to kings borough first i probably would score a higher gpa, but i picked a bad school what seems not to be such a good choice after all !! if not kings borough i will go somewhere else somewhere ???? any suggestions about that??? ....any way thank you for your interest
