Eligibility questions for application for NCLEX-RN

I will be moving to Texas and am filling out my application for NCLEX RN. I don't have any misdemeanors or felonies. I have been arrested twice for underage drinking but only fines resulted from that and i suppose citations to which i pleaded guilty. Do you think I should check yes in the section for eligiblity questions? Also it says to write an explanation....do i write a long lengthy one or just a few sentences on the citiation? Any advice would be great. Oh an b/c they are underage alcohol related, do you think it will go through to the enforcement department?

This sounds like something that could be a problem for you...I'd email/call the BON and ask. If you have a record and say you don't and they find out...really not good.

I checked my state criminal record via my govt website (had to pay for it) and nothing showed up. But, I am going to check yes because they are two arrests and I did plead guilty and paid a fine for one citation the other I only paid a fine for. I just figure its better to be safe rather than sorry. I am also including a letter from an instructor stating that I am professional and safe in my practice. Hopefully that may account for something.
