Eligibilility-Phils/Exam-Cali

Anyone here who applied for the eligibility while still in the Philippines.. but took the exam in California? Did you find out the result via mail or did you see your name in the BRN first? How long did it take?

I applied for my eligibility while still in the Philippines. I applied for the ATT when I got to Cali. Took my exam last week. I wasnt able to update the BRN with my US address and SSN right away.. but I did that right AFTER i took my exam. My question is - if I pass, will I see my name in the BRN website first (just like everyone else) before I get the official result in the mail?

Anyone?

Thread moved to International Forum as it is not specific to those from the Philipines and has to do directly with working in the US.

The results of the exam are based on when the SSN# is given to them. They do not update files on a daily basis immediately when something comes in. And now, SSN# are being verified to the number of them that have been illegal and do not really exist. This goes for all states in this country now.

You did not give them the SSN# before you took the exam, but several days later. Your file is more than likely being processed as if you do not have SSN#. Letters get sent out in middle of the second week after you took the exam.

I applied for eligibility while in the Philippines and took the exam here in California when my IP expired. I read the result in the BRN website when I found my name there.
