Electives

Does anyone know of any easy electives I can take with my Chem, A&P, and Micro classes? Thanks in advance

What type of elective? Art or Humanity? My school requires 1 art elective and 2 humanity electives.

For art I took history of art. For humanities I'm taking biomedical ethics and sociology.

Easy electives... psychology class, or sociology, are both very easy classes. My school allows a psychology class other than the required two, to be taken as an elective. Theater, any sort of english class (poetry, short stories, ect.), painting, drawing, those are all pretty easy. Some of my classmates took harder classes because they sounded cool, like archaeology, geology, ect. which I wouldn't recommend and they quickly regretted.

How is biomedical ethics? Art, short stories and poetry all sound easy enough.

I haven't started Biomedical Ethics yet, it's my last elective and I start it in the spring. From what I've heard and read, it's mostly getting to talk about and debate healthcare related area's like abortion, stem-cell research, right to die, euthanasia, ect. History of art wasn't bad at all, though it depends on the teacher. There were parts where I was like ugh, this is tedious, but in the end, it was a nice class. I learned a lot of interesting things about roman and greek artists as well as modern artists and their lives like Keith Haring and Banksy.

Sociology was incredibly boring, but incredibly easy. I haven't taken any psychology classes as electives, just the ones required for my program, but found psych to be very easy so far too (and I've taken a real interest in psych, surprisingly).

Classmates I know that have taken theater loved it, it was basically just learning to act out scenes. One classmate took intro to jazz, all she did was sit for an hour and learn to play an instrument. One classmate took piano, and it's exactly what it sounds like.... she learned to play the piano. Another classmate took pottery and loved it as well. There's also painting, public speaking (this class can either be very easy or very difficult, depends on the school, so I'd check out ratings first), and drawing.

There's also photography (my school offers intro to photography which is basically learning to work a camera and getting to take photo's of things, but it's a timeslot that clashes with my schedule or I would've definitely taken it).

I am going for a BSN so my school required arts (music, theater, art), humanities (literature, religion, philosophy), & social sciences (psychology, sociology, gender studies).
