I know its super duper early.. I'm still in the process of taking my pre reqs.. I still need biol 1406 & bio 2401 I made a B in engl 1301 & A in psyc 2301.. I plan on taking bio 1406 in fall & bio 2401 in winter semester. Im taking as many supporting classes as I can to rack up on the extra points. I currently attend collin but they have so many more requirements than el centro so in the event i do not get accepted into elcentro the following semester I will apply at collin.. I still need Hesi & all my shots along with cpr.. anyone in the same situation? Or just getting the process started?? I figured I'd start a thread to help us all get over this together.. feel free to comment advice, concerns or questions :)
I failed my Hesi exit exam and have to reapply for the fall 2017. Word of advice, start studying for the hesi exit exam now!!!! I thought it was gonna be easy just like the lecture exams but was completely wrong. Most people that passed said they studied everyday since getting in the program and they used ALL the resources they could get their hands on. EL centro does not play at all they will kick you out if you dont make that 850.
I'm so sorry to hear that.. I hope next time you are able to pass! Was this the exit HESI for the end of one semester or the overall exit exam for the whole nursing program? Also when you say reapply for fall do you mean for the whole program? Wow... this is very eye opening. I'm so sorry.

RhondafutureRn, I am sorry to hear about your hesi score. I took that dang thing 6 times!!!! Finally got in the program this fall, then I had to drop for personal reasons and now I will have to retake the stupid hesi next weekend because they change the rule to everything must be 80!!!! So I cant reapply if I dont make 80!!!! I have not studied because I was taking classes at UTA. Just finished finals, now I have a week to look over things. I applied at UTA and TVCC. You should check into those too just in case. The waiting game SUCKS!!!
