El centro nursing program fall 2012??

Hi is anyone out there applying to the el centro nursing program for fall 2012? Would you share points and which campus you're choosing ? :)

@Sarah...yes starting for the next application period which is next month, they will be using the 30pt system.
Does anyone have the list of courses that would be awarded 1point from your undergrad degree?! Or the link to find out online etc? :)

Presby Dallas partners just like Methodist, but they consider years of service and whatnot. They used to allow volunteers to apply, but now they don't. I work there now and thought about applying but their deadlines are so much later. El centro "accepted" me, so we shall see! If not... Presby's deadline is May 20th.

@RNNelson79...They gave us a list when we went to the info session. They said that they will have all the new information online for us to view on May 1st since that will be the official start date for the next application period.

Where did you get a chickenpox titer? I've been looking online to find somewhere to get it and I haven't found anywhere.

any lab test now will do them for $50

or the health department will give you the shot. I just got the blood test done because I have had chickenpox

@dumblaina you can also try PrimaCare they offer the physical, the TB test and whatever titers you might need.

Thanks 2bAgr8RN and SXBlair for the info. I am applying for the Spring 2013 RN program. My first choice is North Lake since it is so close to me, but I'll take El Centro if I have to. I am ready to see the new point system. Hopefully it really is posted tomorrow.

There are two forms of feedback I need from El Centro this week to make important decisions; The new point system and those re-issued letters!

It was my first time applying and I had 15 points. I got a rejection letter, but my info was all wrong. I earned a B.A. in 2007 so the new system favors me, but I still need to know what summer courses I need to register for and whether or not I should continue with additional applications to TWU and UTA. My wheels are spinning here.
