El Centro/Northlake Spring 2011

Hey future :nurse:! I thought I would start a thread to see who was applying for the El Centro/Northlake Spring 2011 program. I am finishing up a couple of prereqs and my HESI this Summer and will be applying in August. It is SO exciting to know that my dreams will be reality very soon! Does anyone know what the lowest points were for the Fall 2010 group? What back up plans do you all have? Best of luck to all of you!

Thought I would post something on here since I am applying for spring 2011. I am new to the site, I have gotten on here a few times just to see who was accepted and where I need to be to hopefully be close to everyone else applying. Also Megan I had the same question about the physical, I had mine done in beginning of the year and I talked to the director of nursing and she told me that if I got accepted that I would have to get a new one since it is mainly to do with the TB screening I think. Goodluck to everyone! I hope this month and half goes by fast and good results come in :)

I had such anxiety about the packet and boy I'm glad that part is over! Now is the loooonnnngggg waiting game to see who finally makes it in. :)

I wish everyone the best of luck and can't wait to meet some of my new classmates face-to-face! Nursing is going to be AWESOME!!!!

okay good! I was paranoid about it, bc last semester my class didn't transfer and it took forever to get the letter. So I want to make sure that everything went well again.

Well I have my fingers crossed for monday!

So I am assuming everyone get the email from Kanora saying that the letters will now be sent out on the 27th. One more week of feeling stressed!

Yeah, that was a frustrating email to read! It's so hard to focus on anything when the next 2 years of my life are hinging on a piece of paper!

They do send out a letter saying you didn't get in as well right? I asked Kanora & she misunderstood me, so I'm just double checking that we get a letter no matter what. :-) Here's to waiting another week!

I did not get an email! When did that email go out? I am really frustrated now and am concerned since I did not receive that email.

I got the email around 9:30 this morning. As far as I know you will get a letter regardless. It would have been nice if the emails were sent on Friday, not days later.

Ok Kanora emailed me back...she typed my email address wrong. I now have peace knowing she is in possession of my packet. Come on next week!!
