Is there anyone out there that is applying to El Centro/North Lake for Fall 2010? I am getting ready to turn in my packet tomorrow and I am sooooo nervous about this new points system! Has anyone heard what is the average number of points that most applicants have for this application period? I have heard that this is now very similar to how Brookhaven and other Texas colleges have been for awhile but it is new for El Centro and North Lake. Fingers crossed that I will get accepted....I'm so nervous!
Sooo my mail has already run today and still no letter. This is so weird! I applied last time and got my letter in 2 days. I really wonder what is going on:confused:
Thanks. Yes I live in Dallas. The letter doesn't state what the point cutoff was. I emailed the school to see what the point cutoff was. I am going to retake the HESI and reapply. Good Luck to all of you.
Awww! I'm sorry! I know how you feel! There's a website you can go to for "rapid review" associated with Stephen F. Austin, you might try looking into it! Don't give up, it will happen for you when the time is right. =) Trust me when I say I know how you feel. I've already been rejected 3 times from different schools in the area.
JLKRNTB, I am so sorry to hear you didn't get in. I was really hoping we would all get good news and get to meet each other this fall. Keep at it and I'll be praying you get in next time.
i got in at Northlake! I called the house and had a family member open for me fully expecting a reject letter. i THINK my points were 14 (i applied to several schools and the nervs are making me braindead) and i had a 92 on the hesi and my gpa is a 4.0.
Congrats to everyone who got in so far!! I hope my letter comes tomorrow and I'll post when I get it. For those who got in, did you acceptance letter come in a regular sized envelope or a bigger one? Keep your fingers crossed for me please.
