El Camino College point system question

Hi everybody!

I will be applying to the El Camino College nursing program for Spring 2012. If anyone has applied to this program how many points did you have when you were invited to take the TEAS? What was your gpa for nursing science pre-reqs and overall undergrad? Thank you so much for all who answer.

No, I have not. Have you? When you do get invited please notify me. I'm a little worried that if they don't invite they won't inform us about the teas test altogether. I just don't want to be waiting for an invitation when they've already sent them out. :smackingf

some girl from my Eng 1B class said she was invited, so its freaking me out right now. but i'm hoping that they will still continue with the invites next week. i will notify you if i get one, can you notify me also. thanks!

Oh no really?! Gosh, that does make me nervous too! I'm just curious but did you find out how many points she had?

Oh and of course I'll notify you. I'm hopeful but I should get ready for anything. I heard only 80 applied this semester, have you heard of anything else?

well i emailed her this evening so she might not reply till tomorrow. i will let you know what she says.

Really only 80? i thought we would be competing with 100+. but that was the case with last semester also.

okay good news! so i called the director's office today, and her assistant picked up. i asked if teas invites were sent out already and she was so shocked about my immediate call because they just received the applications today. she was laughing about it, and said to give it a couple weeks. maybe that lady in my class just wanted something to brag about.

Oh wow! I am so glad. I searched all over this website to see the dates the TEAS were set and I came across someone who applied for Spring 11 who said they didn't have the TEAS until November 11th 2009. So we still have time to be hopeful! Thanks for letting me know, I will snoop around and find out more info I can and keep you posted. Till then!

I have been checking my email 3 times a day. Nothing yet....I got 58 points total. Anyone know what is the mininum point to get invited?
