El Camino College (ElCo/ ECC) - Fall 2019 Hopefuls

I recently took the TEAS exam on 4/30/19 and waiting impatiently. Called the office today and they are still "working on it" as the last students took the TEAS on 5/3. Said they would MAIL out letters, not email, which is confusing since for previous years it has been emails. Anyone out there wanting to share their experience in this process and/ or give each other support during this nail-biting wait?

Hey! Same here I have so much anxiety about this. I took my TEAS test on 4/23/19 and also called Monday..So they told you they mail out letters? I thought they said email. Anyway, I only applied here (Compton) and LBCC where I got rejected so fingers crossed we get in!

Hello, I also took my Teas on 4/30. Applied to Torrance. No word yet. Thank you for starting this post. Really stressed waiting!

I got my contingent acceptance letter this Friday for ECC. I’m so excited!!

Maybe Torrance is different?

@vkrn514 I was told you had to choose between Torrance or Compton, couldn't apply to both...interesting.

Yes thats how it was last semester. You can only choose one. Therefore I thought it was the same again but the application didn’t have an option to choose between two schools. When i asked, she said torrance and compton became separate schools. So I had to attend both school’s info session and separate application process.

Yes, I believe Compton and El Camino are now different schools. I think we’ll (fall semester) be the first class as Compton.

I got an email this past Friday the 10th around noon. I believe my points added up to 77.
