EKU Psych NP program

I am applying to this program for Psych NP- was wondering if anyone here has graduated from this program or currently attending and if so what is your opinion of this program? Also, are you gainfully employed after completion? I am living in Texas and they informed me today that there have been several students in their program from Texas. Thank-you again!

Yes, I am from Texas and in the EKU PMHNP program. I just finished the first 4 classes...So far so good!

Try searching on LinkedIn for pmhnps in your area, it will usually show where they graduated from. Though to message most people on there you need an upgraded account.

Hi, I know this post is old but I am about to start the psych np program at Eku later this month. I'm super excited and wanted to get some advice, helpful hints, words of wisdom, etc. I also plan to work full time while attending and wondering if anyone else has done so successfully! Hi Allison, I did not work full time while going to EKU's PMHNP Program. However, it is do-able as many of my colleagues did. The last semester of clinical scan get tricky as you need a lot of hours. Others used PTO to do clinical or vacation time so that they could get the 360 hours in. That being said, I loved the program, very interactive, professors are very involved and invested. Did not feel like "an online program." Good luck, study hard, work ahead a little so that you don't fall behind. You got this!
