Eisenhower new grad program 2015

Hi everyone,

I have a interview for Eisenhower in Rancho Mirages new grad program. I really want to nail this interview. This would be a great place to start out at, they are a teaching hospital with all the bell's and whistles.

I have had one interview at another hospital, and got really nervous when they asked for examples about a time when I had to use critical thinking and feel like I bombed the question, silly I know, we critically think every time we assess our patients, but I really want to be better prepared for this interview. I spent all my effort last time on unit/specialty related questions, and hospital info (none of which they asked)!

Has anyone interviewed for their new grad program, can you give me any insight on what to prepare for?

Please help I have 1 week to get it right

Yes I was hired and I love it!! I was able to get into my dream role as an RN in the ER. I have talked to several people who came through the new grad program, and everyones interview was different. A few of us had two interviews, but some people only had one. The only consistancy seems to be that the interview had at least 2 unit managers. Some people were asked a what would you do in this situation type of question, but my interview was more about why should we choose you. It only lasted about 15 minutes where others lasted almost 45 minutes. I wish I could be of more help, just know who you are and why you are a good fit for the hospital. Do some research about the hospital size, what they specialize in, what unit you want to work on and why.

Can anyone tell me what the hourly rate for a new RN is?

Hello! I have an interview with EMC soon. Anyone have great tips to share? What type of questions were asked? It's my very first interview and a little nervous. Thank you!!!
