Education between school and job

Published

Hi,

I finished NP school (although this can apply for RN as well) a few months ago and have been looking for a job. I feel like I'm wasting all this time and want to use it to further my knowledge. Any resources to recommend that I can continue learning? I've seen some boot camps for this but they're expensive. I'm looking for free resources

I would recommend listening to podcasts. What is your specialty? there are many Family Practice related podcasts that discuss specific cases, treatments, recent evidence, etc. There are ones for specific specialties too.

CDC, and FEMA have free independent study courses, Volunteer organizations could provide training for example Search and Rescue.
