Hi, I finished NP school (although this can apply for RN as well) a few months ago and have been looking for a job. I feel like I'm wasting all this time and want to use it to further my knowledge. Any resources to recommend that I can continue learning? I've seen some boot camps for this but they're expensive. I'm looking for free resources

I've seen on this site some people mentioned about a Dr. Tolentino free 4 hour review for the AANP boards? Where can I access that? I also bought UWorld but I'm scoring pretty low so far on the questions. When I used it for the NCLEX they had a predictor exam that told me I had a high chance of passing, but there is no predictor exam for the NP boards:( How do I know what my chances are?

Am I screwed? I only have about 1.5 years of RN experience, only 10 months of it was bedside nursing. I went through NP school really quickly due to my children. I'm graduating in two months and I feel like I did this all wrong. I kind of wish I could go back to being a RN for another 10 years to gain more experience. I really feel like I don't know a darn thing. Am I screwed or is there hope for me as a new grad NP??

Agreed 100%, but if they're gonna lose accreditation on us/they have such a bad reputation that we won't be able to get a job we're screwed

I figured... An issue with reputation is very concerning, but with regards to it being self-taught, it seems like all programs are like that I would suck it up just 'cuz it's so cheap but if it's gonna lose accreditation on me...

Oh no! Really? Aren't all NP schools self-taught? I really want to get in because it seems to be the cheapest school I can find

Looking for info about University of West Florida's FNP program!

Looking for info about University of West Florida's FNP program. I plan to apply for Fall 2023. I am drawn to it because of the cheap tuition- it seems to be the cheapest program I have seen. But I'm concerned if it has a bad name that I won't get an FNP job. Can anyone tell me about the program and name of the school and any other info?
