Anyone ever take out an Education One loan from Bank One? I applied yesterday and was wondering, how long does it take to get a promissary note if you choose the "online" option? I got the email that says I'm pre-approved for the loan already but still no promissary note....I need this money DESPERATELY as registration is in a week and a half and I'm afraid the money won't be here in time.

Sorry I don't know, but I recently got a loan from Wells Fargo and I got my money that day.

Hi! I got an education loan from Bank One and also had them do the online note...it took less than a week to get all the paperwork from them after the approval process. If you can, once you get your part signed, fax the info to them so you can get your money faster. It only took a few days after I faxed the info and check was in hand. Good luck in school!

Hi
I just got a loan from them no to long ago. I applied for 30,000 and had it in a week. prom note took like 24 hours. you need a recent paycheck and proof of enrollment. i faced it to them on a friday and had the check by the end of the following week. they move really quickly. check comes in the mail. let me know if you need anything else.

Hi, KrisRNwannabe and lilbiskit78,
Can I ask what you used as proof of enrollment? I don't have my class schedule yet and won't have it until I register because the school won't give it to me. I also can't register until I get some money to pay tuition. I called to see what else i might use and the guy basically told me that I have to have my class schedule first. This irritates me to no end because the website says that an acceptance letter is acceptable but he said over the phone that it isn't. I have great credit as does my dh so I don't understand why they're giving us a hard time.
Hi, Wanna! Sorry to hear they are giving you a hard time! I used my class schedule to show proof of enrollment; my school was pretty cool and understood that I had $$ coming, let me register, then pay it when I got the money. Of course if I hadn't paid it I would have been booted out, so they knew I would be good for it. Maybe your school could let you do something like that; I mean, are they making you pay it all immediately? Some schools have payment plans that you can pay your tuition out. Sorry I couldn't be of more help; hope everything works out okay for you!
