Edinboro Innovative Fall 2017

I was accepted to the 2017, Edinboro University Innovative Program,Fall Cohort.

I am thinking it would be good idea to start getting acquainted with each other and make a FB page for our class.

There is so much we will need to plan for, and we can help each other as a group.

After all, we will be spending 15 mo together and it only makes sense we start getting our group rolling; as time will fly.

I had my interview today and it was for the Fall Cohort. I wasn't aware that there was a Spring Cohort. How long did it take for everyone to hear about their acceptance?

A week to 10 days for response.

Although there are universities taking till May to respond.

I believe there's a Spring cohort.

That's the one I applied for but got selected for Fall, as I applied on the

Actual due date for spring submission.

I'm happy I was selected for the Fall instead.

It's giving me time to process and plan for moving.

A friend of mine interviewed today as well. They told her she'd hear by the end of the month if she was accepted or not. But I don't think Edinboro has a Spring cohort for the Innovative program. If you don't make it in the Fall, I believe you have to wait till the following year to re-apply to begin in the Fall. Their traditional program probably has a Spring cohort. At least that's what admissions told me last summer when I tried to get in for the Fall of 2016.

Happy to announce that I was accepted today! Yay! However, still weighing my options as I have a couple more interviews lined up. Does anyone know if they have an accepted students day or an upcoming open house? I've never been to the campus so I'm hoping to visit soon!

Congratulations.

I received an email about scheduling a New student Registration Session. However, these sessions are not mandatory.

The only mandatory one we must attend is the one scheduled for August; and a package will be sent to those who have confirmed their acceptance to the program.

Please keep up posted if you decide to visit the town and university.

I'd like to hear about housing options.

I created a map with apartments near campus which a shared in our cohort's FB group.

I also shared a campus map where I marked the halls in which our classes will be held.

Do you know when they will send out information regarding financial aid?

I also just got accepted to the program for Fall 2017!!! Yay! Excited to meet everyone. I have some good information on quizlet for our class. Hope it's helpful once we get started!

Regarding financial aid, I believe you just apply and that's about it. Unless they need something extra.

I have not applied for mine yet though
