Just got accepted to Edinboro's Innovative program for Fall 2014 in Pennsylvania! Had my Skype interview January 16th. Anyone accepted or waiting for admission? Note: Don't lose hope! My GPA is horrible and my pre-req GPA is even worse but I got in! Show that you have passion in your interview!!

Hello everyone,I just applied for the innovative program for fall 2015.Am so excited about the program but my chem is freaking me out. I took an intro to general chemistry and most schools requires General Chemistry. I hope my chemistry is accepted in the admission decision.Just out of curiosity, how did the interview go on phone or on skype.

How was the Skype interview, I just got a call for an interview for the innovative nursing. Am so nervous

Sorry for the late reply. I think I was really nervous about it too but it was an interview. They asked me questions like why nursing, why this program, and why they should pick me from all the hundreds students applying to the program. Lol. The innovative program takes just 20 students each year.

Thank you for responding, I did my interview yesterday and am hoping I get accepted.

How is the innovative program? Am so nervous and excited at the same time for the program :)

Hello, i just did my interview on dec 10 and am so nervous about the interview outcome.pls, when did you get the letter after your interview? How long did it take them to send your letter? Pls how is the program? I hope I hear back from you, thank you :)

Hi, after my interview I got my acceptance in the mail 4 days after en it was sent the next day after my interview. The 4 days was because I was in Texas because some people in Erie, PA got theirs 2days after the interview.

Is ok to be nervous cause I was too! My biggest fear was because I applied in February which was a lil late considering the fact that they only accept 20 students a year.

Thank you for your quick response, I was told that i will receive my decision by jan or beginning of feb which is going to be one monthe from now. Did your interviewer tell that too? How is the program? Was it what you expected? I saw some good and bad comment about the program?

Thank you so much for your information :)

You should be fine if you had an above 3.2GPA. The program is very intense but you will learn a lot. By my second month in the program, I already felt like a nurse. We started our clinical at a Rehad in October and you will each have a pt .

I applied late in February and I got my acceptance letter 4 days after. The interviewer didn't tell me anything about a month, she just said they will make a decision and let me know. I'm sure they told you a month because is Christmas break. Like I said, you should be ok if you have an above 3.2. The program is very intense and you need to do a lot of studying. They now require us to have a 3.0 gpa each semester to stay in the program.
