Hello, I am in my leadership clinical and I am sitting here (yes I procrastinated) trying to do a concept map/careplan. I am doing it on a patient who had angina with a history of CAD, angioplasty... was given NTG, Morphine, and ASA for the pain... I can't remember if this was stable or unstable angina, and I dont know what to put, plus I am having trouble having a hard time coming up with Nursing Diagnoses other than pain! I know I'm probably just stressed and tired...but can anyone help?? :-/

Some of the common diagnosis I've used for angina are:
Activity Intolerance
Decreased Cardiac Output
Anxiety
Ineffective Health Maint.
Of course you would have to implement the etiology part and individualize for you patient, but this may help some.

Here's a few more:
ineffective cardiac tissue perfusion
ineffective therapeutic regimen management
Thank you so much. This has helped me a lot!
