Hey guys,
I am applying to ECU, Appalachian State, and UNC-Greensboro for the traditional BSN Program. Unfortunately, ECU's program is the only program that I can't find anything on. I've met with an advisor and have been accepted to the school itself. I met the needed score for the PAX-RN exam, I have my point for being an LPN, I have my 2 for having no repeats, and I have 8 points for my GPA, which is 3.7. I have 11 points total; however, the advisor said that it was on the lower end of the competitive range. Does anyone know anything more about the ranking system and what kind of numbers usually get in? Thank you guys in advance for your help!!

Hi! I was also put on the alternate list for ECU for the fall BSN Entry. Does anyone know when notifications or final decisions will be sent out for those on the alternate list?? Or when people from past cohorts have heard back? I was accepted into 3 other programs, which I am thankful for! But I am waiting to hear back from ECU! And it's coming down to the line.
Hey! I don't know for fall entry but I know that for the spring this past semster someone told me on her alternate letter it said decision would be sent by Dec. 23 leaving her with only two weeks to get all the paper requirements in. I assume it would be similar timing but I have no idea! I wish I could help you more! Congrats on getting into so many programs! Good luck I'd love updates!
PS. The same girl told me she kept calling to ask her spot on the waiting list! That may help you know the right decision to make :)
LPNJamie7, LPN, EMT-B, I will be applying to the UNCG nursing program when the application opens in a couple of weeks in hopes of starting in May. How do you like the program thus far? I was accepted to a school in VA, and have submitted my enrollment deposit but will reconsider if I am accepted to UNCG. I've heard the program is competitive so I'm nervous to apply, but eager as well. My overall GPA is a 3.4 and my prerequisite GPA is about a 3.47. Not sure if you remember the stats of others who were accepted with you. Was it pretty easy to find housing in the area when your program started in May? Was the nursing application submitted online, or do applicants have to mail it in?
