ECPI Orlando ABSN Summer 2017

Published

I couldn't find anything on here, so I figured I'd post a thread. Anyone applying to the ECPI Accelerated BSN program starting July 2017?

Also, has anyone heard much about the reputation of the school?

I'm applying for the July 2017 start. I know someone who graduated a few months ago. She was extremely pleased with her experience and education received, she passed the NCLEX on her first attempt, and she's now working as an RN in an Orlando hospital.

Could any of you give me any info on the application process?

Nursebrit23, The application is all online and can be found on their website. You have to take the TEAS exam and send it to them. Other than that it is pretty straight forward application need transcripts, references and essay.

Just received my acceptance yesterday! Anyone else???

Same here. Congrats! I am still not sure what I am going to do I know it says they want a reply in a couple of weeks.

Yeah, same. I've also been accepted into another program and am waiting to hear back from a third so I'm still trying to make a final decision!

Congrats, leahhartshorn & Kev93! I have a few more weeks left before finishing my pre-reqs so I can't finish my application just yet. I'm nearly ready to go! I hope the July class doesn't fill up too fast!

Hi..does anyone know the cost of the program?

Thanks =)

Hello, I was recently accepted into the program for this summer and have been seeing so many negative reviews that I am now skeptical about attending. Do you know of anyone that has attended the program and was able to do other things with a degree from ECPI such as going on to pursue a masters at other schools and etc.?

I believe the program is $42,500 all costs included (books, uniforms, lab fees, etc.)

I am in the same boat! I think that most of those reviews are from people in different programs at ECPI. I would rather be in Orlando because I have family in the area and could save on living expenses, but am considering going to another program to avoid the stigma of a "for profit" school later on in my career. The program is accredited so I don't see why it would matter though. I've reached out to a few people who are currently in the program and they have told me that it's a great program and that continuing your education wouldn't be an issue. I don't know though!

Shasta, you can apply with in progress credits and get provisional acceptance according to my admissions counselor.
