ECPI Nursing Program in Charlotte NC ???

U.S.A. North Carolina

Published

I was wondering if anyone else applied to the ECPI Nursing program in Charlotte NC? Also if so how was the science portion on the TEAS? I am to take the Science portion and English portion this weekend. Did you have prereqs already and does that help cut the cost down some? I am hoping so...I have pretty much most of my prereqs done and praying that my amount will not be $40,000 +++++!!! It is sooo expensive but I am so ready to get in and begin to achieve my goal of becoming a nurse!!! Thanks in advance for responses!!! :shy:

@sault....congrats on getting in...can you tell how long it took me to reply on how busy you will be?!!! I transferred in everything so I can only tell you what I've heard from fellow students but I've heard it is extremely hard at ECPI. They are stressed with that course and having to take other courses along with it and heard Microbiology was tough as well. Just study everyday get with other students and instructors if you need help early!! @biochick23...ECPI is accredited so you shouldn't have any problems getting in a BSN program afterwards. I have been looking at some schools to do that also and a lady in my class said she will get her BSN at WSSU once finished at ECPI. Experience has been good and it's what you put into it really...it's a lot of hard work and the classes are not easy by any means...especially Pharmacology! Best of luck to everyone!!!

I know this post is pretty old but, I just turned in all of my paper work for the RN program in June, and I will meet with financial aid on April 6th. I have a few questions about the charlotte program.

1. Did you have to find a loan to cover the cost of the program or did the school find it for you?

2. Will they accept a art class for humanities or does it have to be the culture and diversity class?

3. What is the course program schedule for each 5 weeks and the hours?

4. Any trouble finding a job after the program.

Thanks

Hello! How was your experience at ECPI - Charlotte? I want to hear some positive comments. My story is similar to yours. I'm supposed to be going in to take my TEAS after I finish this semester at CPCC. I will have eight classes transfer over and I just have to take College Algebra. I hope you had a great experience. Let me know!

Hello! Is anyone currently attending or thinking about attending ECPI - Charlotte?

Hello everyone I have been accepted into the June 12th class and will be starting orientation on June 9th. Everything is going great so far, they did lose some paperwork so make sure you make copies of absolutely everything. I'll try to keep everyone updated when I can.

Oh yayyyyy! I'm supposed to be taking a class beginning June 12th as well. I have one prereq to take. I have to take College Algebra. What class will you be taking? Are you going to morning or evening class Futurenursejazz?

Your also starting the nursing program June 12th? Yay! I have completed all of my prereqs so the only thing I will have to start is orientation. I wish they could go ahead and give us a schedule so we could have an idea of the sequence of the classes, but we will not get the schedule until orientation 😐

Oh ok, I've taken so many classes, but that's the only one I needed. I have eight classes transferring over. Unfortunately for me, I won't be able to start taking my nursing classes until October. Since I've taken alot of classes, my advisor told me I just don't have to come when those classes are being taught, and my tuition will be able to be reduced.

I'm actually starting at ECPI on June 12th. I have orientation on June 9th.

I'm also taking the math prerequisite starting June 12th. I will be in the Day program

Hey guys! I am taking some pre reqs at my local CC im from Union, SC and I will have A&P 1, Eng 101, Prob and Stats, Col Algebra, Med Term, Computer, Psychology, Sociology, and Human Growth and Development done come december. I am hoping to transfer those to the Charlotte Campus for the RN program. What other pre reqs will I have to take before I start nursing classes and will it reduce my fin aid? Also, I get loans and grants at my school now does anyone know if loans and grants are able to be used at ECPI as well?

Hey CHoward2510! It looks like you've done most if not all the prereqs. You may want to contact ECPI and let them see an unofficial transcript to be certain. It looks like you may be missing A&P2. Wish you well! I presume you'll be starting in the spring. Don't forget to study for your TEAS. They actually test on TEAS 4, just so you know!
