Econ CLEP and study guide questions..

Published

Hi everyone!!

Wow, glad I found this forum through the general nursing forum.

Here's my questions:

1. Has anyone taken one of the Economics CLEP? How did you find it? What should I concentrate on?

2. For people who have taken Economics, do you find Macro- or Micro- is easier for someone with relatively no Economics experience?

3. Has anyone used http://www.instantcert.com/info.html Is it worth it? And is this the ONLY thing you need to study from in order to do well??

Sorry, I'm so new to this. I hadn't heard of CLEP until Thursday. I had gone to get advised by the admissions director at LSUHSC, which is where I really want to go, and am applying for the fall. She was really helpful, but I found out that the fact that I have five pre-reqs to take in the Spring is going to hurt me, since they won't have the grades in front of them when deciding. She suggested CLEP. So, I can take the sociology and Economics, and fill in two more classes, so that I'll be a bit more competitive (too bad there are no Fine Art CLEPs!!:o )

ANY info or advice on any of this or studying for it is MUCH appreciated!! You guys are the best!

Take care,

Tanya

or if anyone knows of an excellent independent study/online class that I could complete Economics in within 4-6 weeks would be much appreciated as well! :)
