Dont forget about EAC in Thatcher AZ!!! (East of Globe on Highway 70). I was on a wait list in Phoenix, called EA in November and started in January (finish this December)!! I pay like 750/ semester with tuition AND fees!!!
Just a reminder!!
I drove out there today and checked out the school. I met with the Nursing secretary (can't remember name right now). Too bad I didn't get your message earlier, I would have asked about an online CNA option. Can you refer me to where you did it?
Overall I was impressed with the school. I liked the facilities a lot.
EAC has a couple more pre-reqs than the school I am slated to go to in the fall, but I think the quality of learning might be better. And, I do not like where I live at all right now, so a move appeals too.
THANKS for the suggestion. I'm definintely exploring that as an option!
I am sorry, I did start in Jan 2007. They hav summers off, unfortunately. They start in the Fall as well. I moved to Thatcher to attend school. Commuting would be tough, Except second through Fourth semesters most clinicals are in the Phoenix Area. Also most core science classes like the A&Ps, micro and Pharmacology are COrequisits. no need to spend a TON of time taking classes before you start, like i did. Tuition is LOW like 750 per semester. There are alot of advantages to this nursing school. I moved her with my family, and we like small towns, so that was not an issue for us!!!!Any other questions?
I currently go to CAC. I am transfering to EAC for the fall start so anyone with info about EAC's nursing program at the globe campus should drop me a line..
We(4 of us left) drive up from the valley to class in globe 3 times a week and even more when we have clinical's:banghead:
The only thing I know about EAC and LPN's is that they won't let us take the exam until the end of third block which is strange. They say it's something to do with the way the format is but that doesn't really make any sense. We are on the same format as Maricopa so...
Its a good school and I am not going to lie... It's pretty tough...

Congrats on being almost done!
I looked at the EAC website. It says that an entry requirement is to be a certified Nursing Assistant.
Can you share your experiences? Do you know if they make exceptions?
THANKS!
