Im a first semester (fall 2023) nursing student at ELAC. I can help answer as many questions you might have for the program.
I got in with 62/80 points. I have a friend who got in with 40/80 points. Many people who attended the first orientation meeting dropped and decided to go elsewhere and others who were second in line got to fill the spot.
My TEAS score was 88%, 3.5 GPA. no previous experience or volunteer work.

Thank you for sharing that! I'm currently in a constant state of anxiety waiting for schools to respond LOL. I am a little worried since my scores aren't all that competitive. I'm only applying with 49 points. I have a 3.3 science GPA and a 3.1 overall GPA. I got a 79.8 on the TEAS. I have no previous work/volunteer experience.

Congrats on getting into ELAC's program! If you don't mind me asking, how do you like the program so far? I'm trying to get more insight into what the program is like. Thanks!

Hi! Is this a "nurses eat their young" program? Or do you feel instructors are fair and supportive? Are the exams fair? Thank you!
No I haven't received an acceptance letter YET LOL. Hopefully we all get good news today!
I'm worried though because I had 45 points last round and didn't even get on the waitlist, if someone got in with 40 I'm worried I made some kind of mistake to disqualify me and I hope I didn't do it again, fingers crossed LOL

Hi everyone!
I didn't see any discussion for those of us applying to ELAC Spring 2024 so I just wanted to start one!
Has anyone heard back or know when we will be hearing back, and if so do you mind sharing your points? Good luck to everyone, may we all get the chance to become the compassionate nurses the world needs!
