DYouville Nursing Fall 2018

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hello!

I got accepted into D'Youville nursing program starting fall semester 2018! Just wanted to see if anyone else on here got accepted?!

They evaluated my transcript and accepted almost all the classes I took Including A&P I, II. Micro and Chem

All comp English, and some humanities.

To fulfill there general requirement I have the a few classes left over as stated above.

One credit was stats Lab

And then 53 credits of nursing classes.

They send you a transcript outline of what was accepted in which area and what classes you need

In your packet.

I am just not sure how the nursing classes are offered are they offered one after the other and in particular semesters like some in spring and some in fall. Or they offer most classes in both semesters. If so that will take forever to finish.

I have to call them and find out.

according to the curriculum, they offer it one after the other and they're offered during both semesters, in spring and fall. And it takes at least 7 semesters to complete the nursing classes, which is about 3 years.

@magnanimity what was your gpa when you applied?

Over all 3.57

Hey all,

I decided not to go to D'Youville. The nursing sequence is three years and would have to take some core classes that i already have.

Good luck to all who are attending.

Oh man. That sucks. They were making you take too many core classes though. Have you applied to any other nursing schools?

Yeah they are making me take a lot of core classes like computer science and economics and so on, although i am getting my associates and have all the pre reqs such as A&P I-II, Micro, Stats....

I decided on a local school by me in NJ. They only took a few people for transfer. It's getting so tough just to get in a school.

I wish every one best of luck!
