Hello everyone, I just recently applied to Durham Tech's Fall 2018 ADN program in November 2017. I have fulfilled all the pre-reqs and after attending the last 2 pre-nursing sessions, I found out that the cut-off points for both 2016 and 2017 was 35. I guess it depends on how many applicants they are getting. I am nervous but hopefully I get in. Anyone else applying?
Hi All! I checked my email every 2 hrs and still nothing. So I called the Admissions office. Was told that the letters are still be sent via email but generated automatically. So they'll still be sent until April 1st. Ughh.... I am still hopeful I get in even though I have 38 pts and passed the TEAS..
Hi cholland, she just texted me and unfortunately she she didn't get in..she had 33 points if I'm not mistaken..I'm sorry to hear that but don't give up!!! Do you have a back up school you applied to or are considering applying to?
Unfortunately no I put all my eggs in one basket and I cannot find any schools that are still open for application! Hate to have to wait another year to try again but looks like that's my only option. I'm finishing up pathophysiology and ethics this semester, so I will be retaking my A&P1 to get an A and bring up my points, since I do not live in Durham.... need all the help I can get!

Hey! I'm not sure how far you live but Vance Granville is still accepting applications and will be until tomorrow March 30th. Pull up their site and check out the details! Best wishes!!
That's a good idea (retaking A&P) that's what I did with both of them and I took them with Dr.Leadon who is really good imo. If you live anywhere near Greensboro I think guilford cc has a bridge program that has the same requirements as DT (I'm not sure what their deadline is). I wish you the best of luck. Delayed doesn't mean denied!

Thank you so much! And congratulations and good luck with your program!
