Starting a new thread for those who applied to Duke's MSN Spring 2026. I applied priority for AGACNP.
So I received the first & second semester tuition estimates. I knew Duke was expensive but seeing the bill made it reality. When I added up my current student loans with the additional debt I am beginning to wonder if it will be worth it. I have 3 kids to consider as well.
I have been looking for scholarships but they are not guranteed.
How are you all funding your degrees? Any creative ideas?

Mine is going to be all loans as I'm a second gen college student and had to work through my entire nursing degree. With work and loans, I'm going to minimize the amount I take out and then work my butt off after graduation to pay off FAST.

I barely owe anything for my nursing degree. It is crucial for me to graduate from the reputable Master's degree program, so the price tag is not that important to be. Fed loans/private loans/some assistance from my employer/small grants is the way I am going to pay for it.
I have several colleagues who just started a CRNA program. Their tuition at Midwestern University is 400K + .
Congratulations all who got accepted today! Cheering for those who is still waiting!
Anyone opened a FB group already? If not, I am happy to start one.
