I have a friend who just left Rex and he loved working there. It is a very nice hospital and a plus is that it is affiliated with UNC Healthcare system. They are known for providing great care at Rex and I have never seen an employee who wasn't happy. My uncle recently had a quadruple bypass there and all the nurses on his team worked together flawlessly. It seems like a great hospital to work for.
So I've been at Rex for about 3 weeks now. The first 2 weeks was orientation and Epic classes, but so far everyone is SOOO nice. According to everyone I've spoken to, they have a very low turnover rate(something like 3%?)...I can see that, as honestly, everyone seems so happy to be there. I've not yet run into anyone who has been rude or disrespectful. So far, I LOVE it! And like mge said about her uncle's team working flawlessly together? I'm training in the birth center OR right now and that is so true. They are a true team and they know their parts and work seamlessly together. I've been really amazed b/c at my former hospital, it could be chaos at times in an emergency. We got things done as well, but still could be crazy.

Hi all,
I will be relocating to the Raleigh area this summer. What facility seems to be "the one to work for" as far as pay, morale, opportunities for advancement...etc.
I'm a BSN CCRN with 9 years experience.
