I have never started a thread before so here it goes!!! I have just applied to Duke CRNA program for Fall 2018 I would love to hear from others who are going through the same process.

I hope we hear back this week! They seem to be doing it differently than the years past though so I'm not sure. The interview and the assessment make me pretty nervous about hearing though í ½í¹ˆ Hope the best for us all!

I know... I'm not sure what to think after the interview and test.

I felt like all the profs, though, were pretty chill. Dr. Morgan had a relaxed tone about him.

Dr. Vacchiano though. Haha. He scared me a bit. But the students say he lightens up and is actually pretty cool.

I just got my decision. Waitlisted as well! I wasn't terribly optimistic about my interview either, so its hard to be too disappointed. Dr. V grilled me pretty hard too, and i think most people would say the same. But I do hear he is one of the best and his students all really seem to admire him.

Either way, best of luck to those still awaiting decisions and congrats in advance to those who got in off the bat!

Is Dr. V the person who asked clinical questions? oh, yeah, he driilled me so bad....i think I did better on the second question while I was looking at Dr. T who is alway smiling~~~~

Glad Duke is not my first option due to high cost and extensive travelling. otherwise I would cry. Good luck on your other schools' applications.

My heart was beating so bad as I was opening the letter. Lol. I just didn't want a rejection. I figured I didn't get accepted because I didn't get a phone call from Dr. Morgan.

And yes, good luck to everyone as they continue pursuing other options.

you know: I found out i was not rejected without clicking the decision letter, because there is a respond to offer under it. haha.

Waitlisted! Seems like maybe everyone who interviewed and didn't get accepted got waitlisted? I wonder what that means for our chances! Either way at least we can still be reconsidered, that's a good thing!

Waitlisted as well! Did they give any indication how many they waitlist?

I'm not sure how many got waitlisted. Dr. Morgan seemed to suggest after the interviews were done that there were 3 possible decisions: accepted, waitlisted, not accepted. So based off that, I would assume that there were some who did not make the waitlist either.

I'd imagine you'd be less inclined to post if you got flat out rejected so thats why there are more waitlisted applicants than rejected applicants here. Good luck to everyone in our exclusive club!
