Hello all! I am in the process of applying to Duke's CRNA program for fall 2017. Is anyone else working on their application for this cohort?
Hi nglover! I was going to PM you my email but I do not have access to PM. Do you know how many applicants applied or interviewed for your cohort? Do you know what kind of experience the class has? I have 3 years NICU experience and am hoping that's good!
I believe we had around 100-110 applications and they only interviewed around 40ish. The max they take is 25. Actually, my class is a very young class, most of us have an average of 2 years. We cover all the ICU plus one from ER. I had 1.5 years in the Neuro ICU when I was interviewed, after I got in I switch to a smaller hospital doing MICU. So I had 2 years when I started
Medrn1 how long did it take for you to hear back after you submitted your application?
I submitted my application back in august, i heard back early october. Try to get everything they are requesting (transcripts, etc) by the early deadline 10/15. They told me that you have a higher chance getting in with the early deadline. Good luck!

As a current student in the crna program at Duke it's definitely worth the money! Just the resources available are worth it.
but the interview is all day. Though, your actual interview is only 20ish minutes. It definitely is intimating cause you are in front of all the professors, but just be yourself. It's more of a personality based interview. Any questions let me know
