Duke CRNA Fall 2017

Published

Hello all! I am in the process of applying to Duke's CRNA program for fall 2017. Is anyone else working on their application for this cohort?

Specializes in Neuro, critical care.

As a current student in the crna program at Duke it's definitely worth the money! Just the resources available are worth it.

but the interview is all day. Though, your actual interview is only 20ish minutes. It definitely is intimating cause you are in front of all the professors, but just be yourself. It's more of a personality based interview. Any questions let me know

Hey nglover! I will PM you some questions. Thanks!

I don't get on here enough to send a PM, but if you PM your email, I can respond to that

Hi nglover! I was going to PM you my email but I do not have access to PM. Do you know how many applicants applied or interviewed for your cohort? Do you know what kind of experience the class has? I have 3 years NICU experience and am hoping that's good!

Medrn1 how long did it take for you to hear back after you submitted your application?

I believe we had around 100-110 applications and they only interviewed around 40ish. The max they take is 25. Actually, my class is a very young class, most of us have an average of 2 years. We cover all the ICU plus one from ER. I had 1.5 years in the Neuro ICU when I was interviewed, after I got in I switch to a smaller hospital doing MICU. So I had 2 years when I started

I submitted my application back in august, i heard back early october. Try to get everything they are requesting (transcripts, etc) by the early deadline 10/15. They told me that you have a higher chance getting in with the early deadline. Good luck!

Hi! I submitted for Fall 2017 and have an interview date! Has anyone else heard back? I haven't received further detail but anxiously waiting :)

Tried responding to a PM but couldn't since I don't have enough posts. Hope you see this zohhamaze. I submitted the day of priority application deadline and heard back yesterday via email. Good luck!

Clau :),

I submitted mine on the deadline as well but have not heard back yet. Do you mind me asking what your stats are?

Congrats on the interview! Getting excited about it. When is yours?

Not at all, My GRE wasn't too impressive, but above min req. Science GPA is between 3.8-4.0 (didn't calculate but I only have one B). Three years ICU experience, 2 MICU and 1 CICU. Hope you've heard back :)
