Specializes in CardioThoracic Surgical ICU.

I finally have all my ducks in a row (I think lol), and able to apply to my dream school and career. Anxious, but nonetheless very excited for the weeks to come. Wondering if there is anyone else out there submitting to Duke University's CRNA program this year and wanting to connect. I waited a full year in anticipation for their CRNA experience day, and the experience couldn't have been better. It more than confirmed they fit my goals, life and absolute passion for everything that I look for in a school. Especially after visiting many other's who were great schools but just didn't fit me as a person. I am hoping to connect with possible future school mates, and if anything cheer you on if I am only on the sidelines in the end or jump in excitement together.

My husband and I have been wanting to relocate to that area from Gainesville, FL. We visited during the Duke CRNA experience day. I have been turning my school tours into mini vacations with our kids. I realized I need to make sure if we move for school, that they are happy with where we live too. We love the Durham area the most, and it’s 5 hours from my sister. So it’s an ideal situation if we need to relocate. ?

We also visited Emory in Atlanta, University of Buffalo, and University of Pennsylvania. I never considered much in Florida, because my husband has been wanting to move further north. He likes the seasons. I’ve lived in Florida my whole life and looking forward to starting a new adventure in a new place. ?

I'm applying too! Was curious if anyone else was having difficulty with their application like me? I have submitted everything and all recommendations have been submitted. However my application still says "incomplete: missing recommendations". I have emailed the school of nursing but haven't heard anything back. Anyone else having these issues? Good luck to everyone!!

Did you just send out the link to the email addresses? Or did they already complete the questionnaire? I think if your recommenders haven’t filled out and submitted the recommendations form, that may be the issue??

I haven’t gotten to that part of the application yet. I’m waiting on my GRE scores this week before I submit and move to the next step where you upload and get essay topics.

Maybe contact ****** in admissions. She is amazing and helpful. Good luck and let me know what fixed it ?

If your recommenders didn’t complete it yet it might say that but if they did then I’m not sure but I agree to ask ***** she might know! Best of luck! It was a relief to get everything submitted. Hope to hear soon if I get an interview.

Agreed. I’ll feel so much better when it’s all in. It’s not exactly as simple as it looks. There’s a lot of people that have to fill out that very long recommendation questionnaire. 3 doesn’t seem like much, but to know 3 people willing to fill that out is huge. My manager was teasing me the other day that he feels like he can’t fill that thing out twice, so I better get in... LOL
