I wanted to start a thread for the Duke ABSN Fall 2015 cohort since acceptance letters for the have recently been released. Let's start posting!
Is anyone moving from out of North Carolina? If so, do you plan on living in an apartment? Is it possible to live in the dorms? Are you renting a car?

Congrats! Is it the thread for people applying?

Hi there, I'm so excited about this program and Duke Days! Fortunately i live down the road from Duke so it'll be easy for me to get there. What about you meag_moreno?
Unfortunately I will not be able to attend because I live in California. They said that they will be posting the presentations for those who can't.
Let me know how it goes!
Bummer, I feel like a lot of people are in that boat. Have you seen the campus before?
Only in pictures! I'm hoping to visit before May. Do you know about the apartments in Durham? I've been looking around online.
OK so the area right around Duke isn't the best so look in areas around i-40 or i-540. These are just general suggestions. Southpoint, Brier Creek, north hills are really nice neighborhoods. Chapel hill and cary are nice to but a little father.
If you can visit you really should just to get a feel. Durham is growing and becoming really nice you just need to find a good neighborhood
