Dubai

Hi I would like to hear from anybody either living or who has lived in Dubai. My friend is moving there this summer and has 2 young teenage daughters her worry is that when they were there visiting her husband who has already moved there that the men were openly staring at the girls when they were out and about, she feels they would not have the freedom that thaey have here in the States.

She also heard some stories of harrassment towards some other American women who were alone.

Is her fear justified or is she blowing the situation out of control

I had a friend who's husband worked in that area. She hated the staring (she's a blonde). She wound up wearing the black cape like burka to avoid it.
