Dual state income taxes?

Hi, I am considering commuting from NJ to Manhattan. Is it true you have to pay state income taxes in NY as well as NJ? If so, that sucks!!!

I am commuting to NJ from Manhatten. they do not deduct a dual state :p tax. there are hundreds of people who commute from NJ to Ny and vise versa.

Hate to tell you this but if you work in the city, you also pay NYC income tax as well. I am unaware of any NYS or NYC employer deducting NJ taxes as well. You need to go to the NJS website for the most current and accurate information.
