Hi,
I am an RN who's been licensed in MA for about 9 years. . . .
Our family is likely to be moving and I'm wondering about
obtaining Maine and/or NH licensing.
Is there a limit as to how many states one can be licensed in
at the same time? What happens with CEU requirements?
Is there someone who has some knowledge/experience on this
subject? Thanks!!

I don't believe that there is a limit. As long as you pay the dues to get licensed in each state, you can be licensed in more than one state.

MA, NH, ME ... all are compact states. I am licensed in IL and ME. My ME license is a compact license. You might want to enquire into that??

I agree with the above post from Realnurse-I am licensed in Ma and RI.
Just keep track of the dates you need to renew and your license
arriving. One year RI had changed their system, so all of our
cards were late in the mail. They did post that we were current
on their website until the cards arrived.
For CEUs- At one point Ri did not require CEUs but they do now.
Just note if there is a difference in how many are required.
Good luck with your plans !
