Do you mean tested for drugs you have or have not taken? Or tested on what you know about drugs?
the first part. i wanna know because i dont wanna pay for a test when i dont even do anything bad.
Ok..as far as I know we are not tested for taking drugs...sounds like an american idea to me. We do get tested on what we learn about giving drugs which we call medicines over here...are you from America?
thank you for the information. what do u mean as far as you know? are you not a nurse? and yes im from american but i am living in New Zealand now.

As far as I know, the school (I presume you mean nursing school through a university or other approved institution), can't test you, but you can be reported if you work at any institution - government or private - and you can be ordered to be drug tested. I remember asking about this when I worked in South Australia. HOWEVER having said that, universities can throw you out if they think you are using any drugs (legal or illegal) but I don't know if they can test you. You would have to check the institution's policies re this.
the school never even mentioned anything about testing so i assume i won't have to worry about it. thanks!
You do have to get all your vaccinations done before you go on your first clinical.
yea im doing that next week. :)

My TAFE didn't require any drug testing and i haven't heard of this practice in Perth or elsewhere in Australia but I have heard that a particular hospital in Perth will start doing drug and alcohol testing this year
