Drexel University 2022 CRNA

Published

Hi everyone! Curious if anyone applied to Drexel's last masters cohort. I saw it open on their website in January with a deadline of 1/31. I was surprised to see a masters class after previous information posted on their website and was curious if anyone had insight as to the change?

I got an interview invite this morning. I believe they have rolling admissions.

That’s awesome, congratulations!

Do you mind to share how was it? What kind of questions did the ask and if they asked clinical knowledge questions?

I got an invite. Don’t interview until next month, so I know as much as you currently ??‍♂️

Hello!

I am currently applying to Drexel CRNA program, and just finished the application. Can anyone share their experience with the admission? How long should I expect to hear back for an interview? What was the interview like / questions they asked? Also, how long is the decision after the interview?
How many students they take per cohort?

Is anyone here currently applying and waiting to hear back?

Hi! This is only my experience. Admission was pretty straightforward, as far as submitting application goes. I applied in April, heard back in June for interview. The interview panel was friendly. They gave a program overview first, pretty solid. Interview questions were both behavioral & clinical. Clinical questions are personalized to your specified patient population. The interview panel were definitely not intimidating or trying to trick you. I think they are taking around 25 students this cohort.  Good luck!!

During the program overview did they tell you if you could continue to work the first nine months or if it’s frowned upon? Just curious as I know people who continued to work in the masters program during the online portion, but have yet to hear from anyone in the DNP.

I received my acceptance email today! Has anyone else?

Hi all! Does anyone know how many spots are left for this cohort, if any? I completed my application two weeks ago, what is the timeframe where I should know if I was selected to interview or not? Thanks!

I applied in April and didn’t hear anything from the program until August for my September interview. I know they’ve been doing rolling admissions and interviews, but I’m not sure how many spots (if any) remain. Best of luck!

I applied in Aug 2021 and received an invite to interview for 2023 start year just this past week. I assume 2022 is already filled at this point?

You never know, life happens and people constantly get moved up. someone moved up just a few months before this program start date. Ask during your interview.

I will definitely ask them when I interview. Thank you! For the people that interviewed already, do you have any insight on their process of interviewing. I know some schools really try and break you down and see how you really compose yourself while they grill you with questions, I just wanted to know if they use this type of interview style? Some tips will be greatly appreciated ?

It’s a combination of personality and clinical questions. The clinical questions weren’t hard in my opinion, just tested your knowledge of fundamental ICU stuff.
