Drexel transfer one Co-op nursing program. PLEASE HELP !

Published

I am a transfer student accepted to the one Co-op 4yr nursing program at Drexel. I was told by someone who was also accepted that if you have 60 credits or more when u transfer the program is only 2 years instead of 4. Does anyone know for sure if that is true ?? thank you !

Hi, I was also accepted to the one Co-op program at Drexel. Have you received your acceptance packet yet? Mine had a letter saying I was eligible for the 2 year fast track program and I believe I have about 60 credits I'm transferring. I think as a transfer student, the 4 year program is normally completed in 3 years. I remember reading here the fast track program is 20 credits a semester (or quarter?). The packet includes a letter listing classes you need to be eligible to do the 2 year program..I didn't meet the college algebra requirement so I would have had to take it over the summer. Anyway, I've decided to go elsewhere due to the cost, but good luck to you!

You should call the school and speak to someone in admissions/evaluation who can tell you definitively.

I transferred to Drexel some years back and completed my MBA there and can tell you that the transfer process is more complicated if you are coming from a school that's on standard semesters (Drexel is trimester - quarters). In my case, Drexel accepted all of my courses but I only got credit for them in their trimester scheme and so had to take additional classes. YMMV, so call the school.
