Congratulations! I was just accepted myself but I don't think I'll be going. It's the best program I've been accepted to but I'm having our second boy in May and I'd like to stick with DCCC's evening/weekend program so I can have days with my boys.
What part of Chester County are you coming from? I'm on the border of Chester County and Delco and used to live in West Philly so I'm very familiar with the area.
it took me about a month and a half to hear back from Drexel about my acceptance! I applied late January and heard back a few days ago. I got an email with the subject of "Your Admissions Decision" - then you need to log onto their site. They said an official letter will be coming in a few days in the mail
Hello All-
Congratulations on your acceptance into the ACE program. I am interested in applying for the 2013 cycle.
I have 3 pre-reqs to catch up on: Human G & D, ethics & the comm/pub speaking/comp sci elective. I am taking the CLEP for the Human Growth & Devl't, and am searching for the most affordable option for the following two courses. Has anyone had any experience testing out of ethics or comm/public speaking/comp science? I spoke to the admissions director, and he said they do accept the clep credits. However, he said the DSST exam "Ethics in America" was too specific, and I needed to find an exam that covered a general "Ethics" course.
Also, I have my CNA license in NJ. I plan on working part-time as a CNA this summer as well as waitress. What, if any, medical experience did you have prior to applying? (If you don't mind sharing!)
Thanks, and good luck in the fall!

Hey everyone,
I thought it'd be cool to start a thread for those students who have been accepted to Drexel's Fall 2012 program so we can get to know each other. I'm still contemplating if I am going, but it's looking pretty likely.
So for me, I am 23 and graduate from WCU with a BS in Public Health. I have a little boy who will be 5 once I start the program. So yeah, life will be just peachy the next 11 months :-)
So if anyone is coming from the Chester County area, what's the best way of getting to Drexel? I was thinking the train but I have no clue. I need help lol.
